1966 Ford Mustang GT 2dr with a 289 automatic, black with custom flame paint job!!!

This car is really an eye catcher, A TRUE HEAD TURNER, and EVERYONE looks at it driving by, it's those FLAMES! Perfect Christmas present for a classic Stang enthusiast.

With a 4 barrel carb and headers It sounds AWESOME and growly mean!!

It's a v8 with an automatic transmission. Here goes a very lengthy description. You can see by my feedback at 100% you are going to get an accurate description. I searched all over for a classic Mustang for almost a year before finding this hot rod. Here is the run down:

I have receipts and the box labels/item sticker for most of the new parts.

The following were all installed, new between 7/30/18 and 8/31/18

List of features:

Grant steering wheel, Goodyear Eagle GT II P215/60R15 tires that look nearly new, Centerline 15" rims in great shape, recent new interior black carpet and burgundy headliner, Value Power VP-24F 730 cranking amp battery new Feb 2018, recent new starter solenoid, recent new radiator, 4 barrel Edelbrock carb, Ford chrome valve covers, headers, Autotronic Controls Corp MSD6200 multiple spark discharge, ACCEL 140001 Super Coil, recent new gas tank and fuel sender. Car has lap belts included but none currently installed.

Odometer was not working for a while so mileage is unknown, speedometer/odometer works now since I replaced the cable and gear, shows 15,321 miles.

Engine/tranny were rebuilt about 10 years ago when it was custom painted. It has been very well cared for since then and it shows.

Comes with new car cover.

Horn works, all lights work (headlights low/high beam, turn signals), all dash lights work, radio works great, great brakes (drum brakes with no power brakes, but stops well), drives straight like a 1966 car (no power steering), little to no squeaks or chassis noise, engine runs strong, no oil leaks, transmission shifts smooth, no air conditioning, blower fan works fine, all instrument gauges work, no reverse lights (but I'm including the new light kit, just never installed yet), hood and truck all open and shut fine and tight, doors open and shut well, all windows open and close, no problem with any floor pans/solid with no rust/car undercoated well. Fuse box will need to be rebuilt soon but including terminal kit to rebuild it. No cracks in dash, no windows cracked, windows are in very good condition. Overall car is in about an 8 to 8.5 out of 10 condition. Interior is a 9, exterior paint 7.5 to 8, still very shiny and paint looks very nice but a few small imperfections on paint but hard to see outside of a 10 foot distance, body is in a 9 condition, engine/tranny 9, undercarriage/frame 9.

Clear Texas title in my name, no liens on the car, I own it outright. Vehicle ID# 6T07C203237 located in Abilene Texas. I can deliver locally but not outside 25 miles, buyer responsible for all shipping and relocating vehicle costs and arrangements. Buyer responsible for own car insurance, tax, title and fees that apply in your city/state. Will only sell to a buyer in the USA, buyer to pay $5,000.00 Paypal payment within 24 hours of auction ending to me and rest of remaining balance within 48 hours. I will not allow car to be picked up to be shipped until the full balance of the selling price has been cleared by Paypal into my bank (in otherwords a completed Paypal transaction, not just pending).

Car is for sale locally as well and I may remove this auction if car sells locally first.

I have a new $250 rear leaf spring kit available for this car for an extra $100 beyond the selling price of this auction if the winner is interested, it will not be installed and I'd have to take upper back seat out to fit in trunk for shipping.
