Description

1971 Short bed bump side pickup truck.
Rebuilt 302 with a mild cam, headers, and super 40 series Flowmaster Exhaust. New fuel lines, filters, master gasket kit for the motor, electronic ignition module, coil, plugs, wires air filter and belt. This truck is very mechanically reliable and driven at least twice a week back and forth from Seneca, South Carolina to Athens, Georgia (50 miles highway). 3 speed manual on the column with a newer clutch that functions as it should. There has been a recent replacement of hardware, drum brakes and new brake lines installed with a summit brand power brake booster kit that also has a Willwood adjustable proportioning valve. All 4 stop, hold, and function evenly. 4 barrel intake and edelbrock carburetor. The truck is not cold blooded, it starts up with ease. Runs awesome, drives awesome and cruises down the highway. Original paint that has the right amount of surface rust on the truck, and a solid body. The cab corner on the passenger side is showing signs of rust and the floor pans have been patched and screwed in but not welded. Rust in the driver front fender and some on the lip of the hood of the truck. But the rest of the truck considering the age is in really good shape. H Heat, gauges, radio and all lights work on the truck. The bed floor is 100%. The dash pad and seat need a little help. I have a good black OEM dash pad that can be included in the sale as well as a blue cloth bench seat that can be included at an additional cost. This truck is a south carolina truck and has been taken care of most of its life. It doesn't sway when driving from bad suspension or steering box it stays true to the road. The cab, core support, and radius arm bushings and hardware have been replaced. There are no leaks on the top of the motor besides from the drivers side valve cover but that will be fixed before sold or I can send the gaskets with whoever gets this beauty. Underneath the truck is also very dry although I do notice a drop or two on the shop floor from where I park the truck. When looking from underneath I can't seem to find from where but the leak is very minimal. The tires are cooper brand on OEM style wheels and 2 inch wheel spacers on the back. The windows function, door panels I believe are from a 67-69. Gas tank was replaced so you don't have to worry about trash getting into the Carb. I can provide additional info and videos upon request if you would like to call or text the business phone during normal hours! (706) 255 6842 We are located in Athens, Georgia.
