Description

Affordable honesty, a bit of flair, and an A/C interior come together on this 1964 Ford Falcon Ranchero to make an outstanding classic. The upgraded face of the later 2nd generation Falcon looks great on the Ranchero. It gives the car/truck a wider front end and a larger bumper with more bright chrome. Plus, the profile has a great style line in the sheetmetal that looks like it's pointing the vehicle forward. And the addition of polished wheels with knock-off style hubs add to this sporty personality. But even with all this, don't forget about the Ranchero's practical side. The tailgate and large bed mean this is the cool classic that can bring the party with it. The interior has been upgraded while still keeping plenty of vintage style. You have a bench seat that's upgraded with comfortable cloth inserts for where you sit. And the custom door panels coordinate with this design. The classic dual-spoke steering wheel gives you a clear view of the factory gauge panel (a cool piece that the Mustang would make famous later in '64.) There's even the classic column-mounted shifter. But this also has the right upgrades, like an auxiliary gauge trio, cup holders, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo with aux input. And while the air conditioner has a vintage look, it's blowing ice-cold with modern R134a. The inline-six motor was rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago, and there was plenty spent in the presentation, too. After all you get glossy red paint on the block, gloss black on the air cleaner, and all those cool decals - so this one will attract more attention than the chrome V8s in the show field. But this Falcon isn't being completely honest. That's actually a 200 cubic-inch motor, which is 20% larger than what the period-correct decal is telling you. So this lightweight Ranchero has a nice amount of extra spring in its step going down the road. The three-speed manual transmission gives you good control over the motor, and everything feels as tight as a well-cared classic should. When something this unique has been given the right investments, and it's so affordably-priced, then you know it's time to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
