Description

Serious big block power, a strong chassis, and a custom attitude inside & out come together to make this 1932 Ford Roadster your ultimate street machine. You know this one was built for real power. The engine bursting out of the hood and the side pipe cutouts announce that to everyone (even when this is parked!) But take some time to look it all over. It's a lightweight fiberglass car with a quality construction. That's why the panels...fit so well and the glossy red paint is allowed to dance almost seamlessly from panel to panel. And there's a ton of great brightwork on the waterfall grille, bumpers, windshield frame, and 15-inch polished American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. Plus, you'll love the detail work, like the Ford V8 badge up front and the blue dot taillights. And have you noticed the pinstriping? Yosemite Sam is stilling up front, and his blazing guns kickoff a full-length pinstripe package. And that hint of black goes nicely with the removable top whenever you have it in place. Inside, the full red package continues. They even got the tone of the leather just right, so when the top is off, it's almost tough to see where the exterior ends and the interior begins. This is a thoughtful build that's all about being slick while also offering greater comfort. The best place to understand this is on the door panels. They have a great custom contour that flows from the dash, and there's zero interference from latches or switches (there are door poppers inside and out on this unique machine.) A full center console means true bucket-like seats as well as an armrest and cup holders. They even hid the AM/FM/CD stereo under the passenger dash so that nothing gets in the way of the clean presentation. This is really a driver's machine with custom sports steering wheel mounted on a chrome tilt column. The dash is full of classic-style VDO gauges, and the center is dominated by a tach and cool start/stop button. We've hinted at this beastly motor, and now it's time for all the details. We love seeing a classic Ford body style powered by proper blue oval power. This is a 460 cubic-inch big block professionally built by John Loper High Performance. While massive displacement is enough for some, this performance machine was enhanced much further with a hi-rise intake and dual four-barrel carburetors (it's so much power to be contained that even the butterfly intake is peeking out from the top of the hood!) And this V8 is looking also good. Almost everything is polished that can be, including the Ford Motorsports valve covers. Even the firewall is super-smooth, so you could easily win awards for just the showmanship alone. Of course, if you choose to have the exhaust cutouts let the side pipes roar, people might be too scared to even get close to this motor. The power gets to the ground via a stout Ford C6 three-speed automatic on its way to a Ford 9-inch rear. And on a build like this, you know they made sure the rest of it was ready to handle the big power. That's why you have a tubular steel chassis, tubular A-arm front suspension, front disc brakes, four-link rear, and adjustable coilovers at all corners. This is the kind of '32 Ford built for someone who wants big power in a bold package. If you're ready to have all eyes on you, call today!
