For Sale is a Rare 1966 Mustang Fastback 2+2 project in Excellent condition....an Original Numbers matching vehicle with adocumented 62,830 Original Miles and one of 1780 made in the color Tahoe Turquoise Metallic Green. This is a No hit No rust car beingoffered at a reduced price.Always garaged, this car has only been a California/Nevada vehicle. I am the second owner and have all the original documentation for this vehicle, from manufacture at the California San Jose Plant, to its transport and sale at the Southern California Ford Dealership, to include the Salesman, Original Owner, and all supporting documents pertaining to and including the Original Gold/Black California plates. Everything has been re-built (a nu, bolt, washer, screw) sub frame off/Unibody ground-up with matt black powder coating on all framework and associated sub parts. Engine, transmission, rearend/differential, braking system/lines(stainless), suspension, all bearings, axels,front end bushings, pins,ball joints etc, exhaust system/mufflers(404 stainless)and all mechanical sub systems, ie power steering, radiator(new)4 core,and related sub components have already been re-built by reputablelicensed repair shops, completed, and re-assembled to better than factory new specifications. The hard,heavy and difficult work has already been completed.The interior is like new and is factory Original in Aqua Green. It was a Lady's car with only one person driving or sitting in the vehicle.I have all the exterior Show chrome(new Drake)and have kept all the original parts removed from the carthat werereplaced as this is being restored to Show Quality. Anywhere Shelby parts could be used and were available, I added the Shelby Equipment throughout the carto include front disc brakes, torsion bars, and engine equipment as necessary. All the underside front to rear mechanical work(new)has already been totally painted as original, re-built and powder coated to include the rearend housing, restored and assembled better than Factory New. I have all the invoices, asover $40,000 in restoration work has already been professionally done. The exterior paint and assembly is all that remains tobe completed and assembled onto the car. Any and all offers are taken into consideration. I added (car painted)pictureof what the car will look like when completed in the color the vehicle was when it left the factory. This has been updated as I did not want in any way to misrepresent the car being sold currently(unpainted). I need not tell you what this vehicle will be worth when complete.
