1975 FORD GRAN TORINO ELITE.AFTER ABOUT 20 YEARS OF OWNING AND RESTORING THIS CAR, I HAVE DECIDED TO LET IT GO TO ITS NEXT OWNER.ALL OF YOU CAR GUYS AND GIRLS OUT THERE KNOW THE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IT COSTS AND COUNTLESS HOURS TRACKING DOWN PARTS, AND ACTUAL HOURS OF WORK, IT TAKES TO GET A CAR THE WAY YOU WANT IT.I HAVE ALMOST COMPLETED THE PROJECT, (95%) AND WITH A VERY LITTLE MORE TIM, AND A FEW MORE THINGS THIS CAR WILL BE 100%.I RECENTLY ( 12-07-18 ) INSTALLED A NEW HOLLY CARBURETOR AND REPLACED THE HEADER GASKETS.THE 351W HAS A FORD RACING INTAKE, NEW CARB, HOOKER HEADERS, EXHAUST IS CUSTOM AND LIKE NEW.THE FMX TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT AND HAS ABOUT 800 MILES ON IT.THE WHEELS ARE 15" EDELBROCK AND ALL THE TIRES ARE LIKE NEW, BF GOODRICH RADIAL T/A.THIS CAR WAS TAKEN DOWN TO BARE METAL AND PAINTED THE BLUE YOU SEE IT IN NOW. THERE IS AND WAS NO ROT ON THIS CAR.IT IS SOLID. I PURCHASED THIS CAR OUT OF INDIANA.WHEN THE CAR WAS REPAINTED I ALSO INSTALLED A NEW CARPET.THE CAR HAS AN AFTER MARKET SUN / MOON ROOF THAT TILTS UP OR IS REMOVABLE.IT WAS INSTALLED IN THE CAR WHEN I PURCHASED IT.IT HAS HAD THE FUEL SENDING UNIT AND FUEL PUMP REPLACED.THE BRAKE MASTER AND BOOSTER HAVE BEEN REPLACED.NUMEROUS OTHER PARTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED, REPAIRED OVER THE YEARS I HAVE OWNED IT.THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. IT IS INSURED AND CURRENTLY REGISTERED .IF YOU ARE LOCAL AND WANT ME TO TAKE YOU FOR A TEST RIDE, OR BRING IT TO A LOCAL SHOP TO BE INSPECTED BY A MECHANIC OF YOUR CHOOSING, AT YOUR EXPENS, THAT CAN BE ARRANGED.
NOW, TO WHAT IT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED:HEADLINER NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, I HAVE THE MATERIAL.THE PACKAGE DECK, NEEDS TO BE COVERED IN MATERIAL OR REPLACED.( BEHIND THE REAR SEAT, WHERE THE SPEAKERS GET MOUNTED)IT HAS THE AM/FM/ 8 TRACK PLAYER, I WAS GOING TO UPGRADE THE RADIO, BUT NEVER GOT TO IT. IT WORKS.THE ANTENNA NEEDS TO BE REMOUNTED ON THE FENDER, IT WAS REMOVED WHEN THE CAR WAS PAINTED, BUT NEVER REINSTALLED.THE A/C AND HEATER CONTROL SWITCHES NEED TO BE REPLACED, REPAIRED.( THE A/C BLOWS COLD, THE COMPRESSOR IS FINE. THE SWITCH IS NOT WORKING RIGHT. )THE TACHOMETER IS NOT WORKING. I AM LOOKING INTO THIS ISSUE NOW, IT DID WORK.THE GLOVE BOX INSERT IS MISSING AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. $60.00 ON EBAYPASSENGER SIDE ARM REST NEEDS TO BE REINSTALLED, I HAVE IT.THE EXTERIOR MIRROR, ON THE PASSENGER DOO, NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. IT WAS SOMEHOW BROKE, WHILE IN MY GARAGE. ( I CAN GET THE PAINT MANUFACTURERS NUMBER AND INFO FROM THE BODY SHOP WHO PAINTED THE CAR ) I HAVE SEEN ORIGINAL MIRRORS ON EBAY FOR AROUND $100.THE CHROME ON A SMALL AREA OF THE FRONT BUMPER IS PEELING, THE REAR CHROME BUMPER HAS MINOR ISSUES AS WELL.

12/28/18 added pictures of interior/ trunk. please don't mind the dust, i am in the process of cleaning the car.if you would like pictures of a particular area, please ask, and i will get them to you.some of the minor things may be fixed, if im able to . i am limited as to what i can do, because of lower back issues .
to answer some of the questions i have received :when i bought the car, it basically sat for 10 + years, being pulled in and out of my garage.I then started searching for missing parts, fixing a few things and stripping it to bare metal, installing the intake and exhaust, etc. on and of, when i had the time and money.it was brought to a professional body shop, car restorer, in west palm beach Florida and was primed and painted, new door seals, new rear window glass and seal, new trunk seal and carpet, etc. in 2011-2012 ( i can find out the exact date when i go to the shop for the paint code info)then it was garaged again, until recently.the car is a running, driving classic, It was restored to be driven and enjoyed.I did have a binder full of receipts, contact's for parts, some pictures, etc, that has unfortunately, disappeared.
