Description

We are especially pleased to offer this custom 66 Ford pickup. The truck started life as an F-250 long bed and is now a very cool custom. The truck was built "FORD tough without your tax dollars".The bed was pro shortened, the paint is custom "Hot Rod Flatz "copper pearl" and the interior and drivetrain are completely redone. The truck was lowered a smidge and has a great stance. It has power steering and power brakes. It steers like a new truck with zero play or wander going down the highway at 75. It has a rebuilt FE, a rebuilt C6, rebuilt limited slip differential, rebuilt brakes, seals, wheel cylinders, fuel lines, electric fuel pump, and new exhaust. The wheels are '97 F-250 8 luggers aluminum alloy. There is a very small rust patch on the driver side floor board about 3"x4" and that is the total extent of rust repair. The truck is as rust free as we have ever seen and is 53 years old. It's lived a pampered life in Oregon. It's stored inside a heated enclosed garage too. The interior is redone completely. The original dash pad is retained due to it's great condition but it has one small crack(pictured). The seating is new, floor insulation, heater core, full FoMoCo rubber mat, Kenwood Excelon blue tooth stere, and 450W 6x9 speakers are new as well. The dash is new as well as the tach. All in all it's awesome.
Look closely at the pictures please. The body is straight, the underside is raptor lined and very clean with no rust coverup. We raptor lined the inside and bottom side to make it rust and corrosion resistant for another 53 years. lol Driving this truck is super easy. We installed Pertronix ignition, plugs, wires, new carburetor, fuel lines, electric fuel pump and new air shocks. The K&N air cleane, & GT valve covers top off the engine dress up. The truck runs on warm days in traffic at 180 degrees. Under the truck is dry and there are no substantial leaks of any fluids on the concrete. All in all it's an awesome little shortbed. I'm sure I have not answered all the questions folks may have so feel free to contact us at em2bad@gmail for answers to additional questions . We can also be reached for additional pics by going to the em2cool website. We have tried to present the truck as it really is. However, like any 53 year old truck there could be future issues. It does not have any at this time that we are aware of.
Disclaimers:The truck above is being advertised in an "as is" and "where is" condition. There are no warranties expressed or implied . Shipping is the sole responsibility of the bidder/buyer. Please make sure of the fit, finish, and mechanical fitness of this nice little shortbed before you put in that bid. After the auction is over is NOT the time to ask for inspections or negotiate price. All buying must be completed through ebay and hogboy44 if you wish to purchase the truck. It is not for sale locally at this time although it may be in the near future. GOOD LUCK ! Marty and Molly at EM2
