1961 Ford Falcon Futura
Description
1961 Ford Falcon Futura. I've owned this car for almost 33 yrs. Removed it from a barn in 1986, tore it apart to do a partial restore. One picture shows what it looked like and one heading to the body shop. Paint work is about 15 yrs. old, has lower quarters replaced, not much for rust repair, rust hole in the trunk by the tank, and some floor rust repair. There is a small dent on the lower quarter panel. Bumpers are new, rubber around front and back glass replaced. Trunk Emblem replaced, Rims were powered coated. Interior head liner replaced, carpet replaced, new kick panels, Front seats are not original, They were missing when I gotthe car, but the console is the original.Seats and door panels still need redone.Engine is from a1970 Maverick200 C.I. 6Cyl with 3 speed manual on the column.Has a Reman carburetor, new fuel pump, Cylinder head was removed and had a valve job. All the brakes and wheel cylinders were replaced, has one frontwheel cyl.leaking from sitting. Exhaust system has been replaced, New fuel Tank. Tires were replaced but starting to dry rot from sitting. I have never plated the car, title is in my name. I've only drove the car down the road two times since I've owned it. It has not been started since 2006. I bought everything to convert it to v8 4 speed, no time to do it, so I sold all the stuff minus the bellhousing that I have for sale on Ebay. This car has been in the garage other than going to the body shop or when I test drove it. It still needs work, but the hard part ( body work ) is done. I have a lot of money in this car, It's time to sell it and make room. This car will have to be trailered. It should start and run with fuel and a battery. Any Questions, Please ask. THANK YOU !!!
