Have had the car for close to 10 years waiting in line to do the restoration but as I get older and with less time decided to let a few projects go.
When we received this running drivable car we completely disassembled the entire car with the exception of the original underdash wiring harness and it interior Dash components which are in excellent uncut condition. The car was completely media blasted a few years ago to reveal any issues. Very solid west coast car.
Original 289 engine ran strong C5AE-6015-E (5C30). C-4 tramission was also in perfect working condition.
VIN is stamped at three different locations on the right and left inner fenders as it should be.
Has its original quick turn ratio power steering box with its tag HCC AW date code 5C16C
You get all the reusable parts pictured that were from the car. Some pieces that will be needed include carburetor, rear bumper, dash pad, battery, grill, windshield, front and rear valances.
Hood was a nos red oxide that was painted for another car and after painting found to have some low spots as seen at the filler spots which work was started until the customer came in and decided he wanted to just get another NOS hood. Other than that the hood is excellent like new. Underside is still painted.
Deck lid is excellent but does have four holes from a luggage rack that originally was on the car. You could install a new rack or weld up the four holes and without it.
Cowl is in perfect condition with no rust.
Driver Door has a little light rust through holes at the front bottom corner of door otherwise excellent.
Passenger door is excellent. Already was getting prepped for paint by mistake.
Driver fender is excellent.
Passenger fender has some light rust through holes at bottom rear of fender at emblem location.
Both rear quarter extensions are in excellent condition.
Both front fender headlight buckets and their doors are in excellent condition.
The roof is in excellent. Had a vinyl top. Only one little tiny hole at front drivers edge as seen in the second to last picture.
Trunk area is excellent and rust free.
Entire front clip including battery tray is rust free.
Floor pans are solid. Rear driver Pan has some specked rust through. Front passenger very forward outer corner has a little rust through. Very small patch only required.
Driver rocker appears to have had some rock dents that where drilled to pull out.
Driver Quarter had a little rust through around the wheel opening.
Passenger quarter had the same with some dents that were pulled out. A patch panel in included with car.
Radio opening in Dash was enlarged for a aftermarket radio.
****Any metal repairs needed will only require patches. Not panel replacement.****
Car is sold as is where is with no expressed warranty. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I will have the engine and transmission mounted to body for shipping.
