Burnt Orange Metallic Custom Hot Rod
Description
1932 Ford Roadster The 1932 Ford is one of the most recognizable hot rods on the planet. Cars have been customized since they were created, but Model As took on a whole new life as Hot Rods starting in the late 1930s. Why This Car Is Special This particular 1932 is a stunning example of what a custom car can become. It is truly a rolling work of art! Everywhere you look this Ford will impress you with a custom touch or a subtle styling cue. Mechanical The engine is a 350 bored .030 over making 355 cubic inches. It is topped off with three 1-barrel Rochester carburetors on an Offenhauser intake. Sanderson headers run to an X-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers leading to dual tips exiting the rear. The engine is a gem in between the frame rails as it is painted to match the car and is topped off with aluminum valve covers and oil breather, a polished water pump, billet brackets and pullies and a touch of chrome. Chrome accents include: radiator overflow, alternator, oil pan, radiator cap and air cleaners. A Mallory distributor provides the spark through Taylor plug wires and an electric fan keeps her cool on even a slow cruise on a hot day. All of that horsepower is sent to a cruiser friendly 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The braking power is provided by 4-wheel disc brakes on a drop axle up front and a Ford 9" rear end with Moser axles. The rear end is held steady with a 4-link setup to ensure all the power gets to the ground. The electrical duties are handled by a Painless wiring kit throughout. Bring your mirrors to the car show because the engine block, bellhousing, transmission and steering box are all painted to match the car. The frame and suspension components are done in a gloss black and show very well. Interior The interior is absolutely stunning! Custom leather has been formed with beautiful curves that accentuate the natural curves of the 32 body and give the interior a luxurious and rich feel. Camel leather covers the custom door panels and the bench seat. Seat belts, a tilt billet steering column, billet shifter lever, door handles and gauge surround bring everything together nicely. The gauges are Stewart Warner, which always provide a sleek and classic look. An Alpine AM/FM/CD player is nicely mounted in the cockpit and the trunk is upholstered to match the interior. The trunk also contains a tonneau cover and storage compartments. Exterior A Wescott fiberglass body with Wescott fenders is as slick as glass coated in a Burnt Orange Metallic paint that really pops in the sun. Shaved door handles and trunk handle keep it clean. The infamous 32 Ford grill is highlighted by a chrome headlight bar and headlights. Swan neck mirrors and a Muroc style windshield finish off the exterior with a modern and sporty, yet classy look. Boyds aluminum alloy wheels are wrapped in Michelin tires: 235/70R15 in the rear and 195/65R15 in the front. A polished fuel tank and chrome dual exhaust finish off the view from behind. Conclusion This 32 is ready to show and cruise. You couldn't build it for anywhere near the asking price and you are sure to get thumbs up everywhere you go. If you're looking for a hot rod that was built right and is not so over the top it can't be enjoyed, look no further. So, give us a call at 941-254-6608. We also finance!
