Description

Mach 1 Mustang Indian Fire Red. I have a Marti Report for this Mach 1 project. It reads:1969 Mach 1 (63C code) with factory Indian Fire Red paint (Y5 code), toploader wide-ratio 4 speed transmission (code 5), white Mach 1 knit interior (3W), fold down back seat (added by someone), factory AM/FM, 351 4V (M code), 3.25 traction-lok (code R), front disc brakes (added by someone) and tinted glass. The car was painted white years ago, the AM/FM was replaced, fold down seat and front disc brakes were addedand someone changed interior color from white toblack. No engine or transmission but has a Ford 9-inch rear with 31 spline heavy duty axles. Cool "old school" aluminum 14 inch mag wheels. The cowl area appears good (see photo). Factory buck tag, VIN plate and hidden VIN stamp are all there! Needs lots of work:Rusty floors and quarters but rails are good (see photos) except in the rear where the spring shackles bolt to rail (see photo) and at the front passenger rail below battery (see photos). Someone installed an after marketsun-roof which is in good shape. Bad rust in floors and torque boxes. Passenger side trunk floor is good, but driver trunk floor has rust (see photo). Shock towers appear good and strong with no cracks. Battery apron area is rusty and patched poorly. Still has all fourspot welded factory original engine compartment side aprons, with a clean factory VIN stamp on the driver front apron, and thatapron has a minor crinkle from an oldfrontend bump (see photo). No glass in passenger door. Has rear spoiler and louvers. Great optioned Mach 1 in a fantastic color combination...needs lots of wor, but worth it with factory 4 speed and M code. I have the factory hood scoop, grill, and rear tail lights (see photo). Car is loosely bolted together(hood, fenders, doors, windshield) for safetransport. I have no time for this one. Clean title in my name, no ignition key...just a trunk key. I reserve right to end this auction early because this car is advertised locally. Sold "as is". Call me for more info and more pictures...thanks Rick (301) 237-8360.
