1988 Ford F-250 w/ dump bed

Description

I am the second owner. I bought this truck from my former employer... a regional magazine closed its Menlo Park HQ a few years ago. This was a fleet vehicle that was used by the magazine's test garden and grounds keepers to make runs to the nursery for plants, and for top soil. It has been maintained by the company since it was purchased new in 1988. Well used but is in working order, runs like a top, exterior shows some paint deterioration (has been painted a few times), light body rust (See all pics). Dump bed is operational. This is the first year Ford offered a Fuel Injected engine. Its a big improvement over the naturally aspirated versions.. no fumes.

• -Heavy Duty Shift Kit for Transmission
• -Back Up Alarm Beeper
• -Crysteel Electric/ Hydraulic Dump Hoist for Bed, Switch for bed is located in cab.
• -Rear Bumper reinforced for towing w/ 2" Hitch Ball (THE BALL HITCH SCREWS INTO A HOLE IN THE BUMPER NEAR THE LICENSE PLATE..NOTE: I HAVE NEVER TESTED THIS HITCH)
• YOU MUST RAISE THE BED TO FILL UP THE TANK WITH FUEL.
• RUNS COOL, FUEL GAGE IS ACCURATE.
  

Improvements/replacements since I have owned this truck:

• tailgate
• front brake lines
• Back up Alarm Beeper
• four heavy duty MonoMax Shocks
• Fuel sender
• new radiator(had a small crack and could not sell it like that)
• Bluetooth receiver so you can play music and make calls over the trucks recently replaced door speakers.

TRUCK HAS JUST PASSED SMOG FOR CA. IF THIS IS BEING PURCHASED IN CA ITS READY TO GO.
I will provide all the documentation I have on the truck. I have the original manuals, user guide, sales slip that lists all the features. This truck looks a bit rough but is a well running workhorse...and is way fun to drive.
