Description

I have for sale a 1965 Ford F100 short wheel base pickup. I bought it several years ago from a nearby Police Chief. He claimed that he got it from the original owner's family. It still has its dealer installed back bumper with the dealer's logo stampedon it. Ms. was like most states backwhen this truck was newand did not issue titles until 1969.

****Thistruck will be sold with a bill of sale.**** This is a non issue in most states for the older vehicle's. Pleasecheck your local state DMV laws before bidding.

TheFord runs and drives like it should. It has a 240cid six cylinder engine. I do not know when it was rebuilt but it runs strong and does not leak or burn oil. I installed a new old stock shift collar on the steering column and I replaced the clutch. The manual 3 speed transmission now shifts like a new one.

The truck has been painted Ford glacier blue with a Ford wimbleton white cab top. I would rate the paint job as nice respectable shiny driver condition or a "10 footer".

The truck retains its nice original floor pan and cab mounts. If you remove the door inspection panels you can see that the doors are rust free with nothing hidden. Part of the truck's bed floor has been re-welded at the front and the bed floor does has pitted areas that were sanded and repainted (see pictures). The door weather stripping is old and dried out. The turn signals quit working a few weeks ago. The turn signals began blinking very slowly before they quit working so I believe it needs to have a new flasher installed. The truck's original seat bottom cushion is torn. I covered it with a slip on seat cover.

Since I have owned I the truck I have installed, refurbishedand rebuilt many components for the truck to include:

New clutch.

Brakes- new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, and brake shoes.

Ignition- new distributor cap, points, condenser, rotor, spark plugs and spark plug wires.

Fuel system- New remanufactured 1brl carburetor, fuel pump/fuel filter, gas tank flushed cleaned and painted.

Installed- newwindshield and back glass rubber gaskets.

New column shifter collar. Shifts like new.

Recap: This is a very nice and mostly original driver or street truck that most people wouldbe proudto own. It is not a trailer queen or a bling show vehicle. I will be glad to show the truck to interested buyers and to answer questions. Truckhas a low reserve and with besold with a bill of sale.

Buyer within (7) days will make payment with either cash in person or will do a secure bank wire transfer. I will be available to assist you or your shippers.

Thank you for looking!
