Description

This Boss has all the good options every serious Mustang collector wants and a lot of them:
  • Rear deck spoiler
  • 4 speed wide ratio top loader
  • Traction-lokdifferential
  • Convenience group
  • F60x15 raised letter tires
  • Shaker hood-
  • Sport slats
  • AM radio
  • Decor group(Deluxe interior)
  • Tinted glass
  • Magnum 500 chrome wheels
  • Tachometer
This Boss is extremely solid. Both doors, trunk lid, hood, front fenders, frame rails, torque boxes, engine bay and entire trunk area are in amazing condition. The rear quarters are in great condition but someone flared the wheel wells for big tires at on time. The floor pans have a couple of small spots that could use some small patches. It retains the originalpaint except where they flared the rear quarters.VIN number is still intact on dash tag, transmission, and also on both aprons. The battery side apron has been removed due to battery acid but I still have it with VIN. The VIN on the aprons is a factory mistake where the last 3 digits got stamped wrong like a lot of other mustangs, but its the way it left the factory.
As you can see in the pictures, I have mostof the hard to find and very expensive original parts. The motor is a replacement block as are most of the Boss 302 motors. The block has had the machine work done and has been painted. I have all of the engine parts except carburetor. The interior is in great original condition, except for a couple of small spots that could be easily fixed. The headliner is even in good condition with one small rip that's not very noticeable if someone wanted to keep original interior.
The value of the Boss 302 is based on it's options. When this car is restored, this highly optioned Boss will demand top dollar. When you see restored Boss 302 advertised for money north of 120k, most of them still lack some of the highly sought after options this Mustang was born with!
I do not need to sell this car and will restore it if reserve is not met, but I could use the room and I've got to let some of them go. I will definitelyhelp load all the parts and the car but shipping is sole responsibilityof winning bidder.
