California Original, 1979 Ford F-250 3/4 Ton, 460 c.i. Factory A/C, NO RESERVE

This is a 1979 Ford F-250 3/4 ton Trailer Special Lariat.

The truck is a nice survivor that is in need of some TLC. The body is excellent andrust free with the exception of some blisters and small holes above driver and passenger door roof line and door jamb.

The 460 engine sounds great and runs extremely well. Unfortunately, the truck only goes into reverse and needs a rebuilt transmission.

The truck has factory a/c. We recommend the truck be completely gone through mechanically before being a daily driver. The odometer readingis 33,652, due to the 5 digit odometer we cannot verify the actual miles.

Cosmetically the truck looks good and has a nice beefy look. The undercarriage is A+ (see pics). The paint does have a good shine, however there are various chips, nicks, fading, clear coat peeling, etc. Heavy duty front bumper guard.

The drivers door/tailgate has various dents, the rest of the body is good with normal wear. The tailgate handle is missing. The passenger side body molding is missing. Decent tread remaining on matching BF Goodrich all terrain tires. Nice shiny bumpers and all the rest of the trim is complete.

• Drivers door panel is fair with broken pieces, passenger side is ok.

This truck has a lot of potential and would be a very rewarding project due to its near perfectly rust free body. At this time we are unable to smog/emissions test this truck so it will only be offered to out of state or country buyers.
