1966 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT350 COBRA ELEANOR TRIBUTE RESTOMOD 289V8 DISC BRAKES
This listing is for a very nice vintage1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Restomod Tribute. Recently received a mild restoration/makeover, good running/driving condition
lots of newparts!!!
Paint is Performance Eleanor PepperGrey Metallic with Jet black GT Lemans stripes. Paint is brand new 1 week old. Paint is base coat clear cut and polished to a high
shine. Lemans stripes are painted on not decals. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New 17x7 Ridler 695 matte black wheels and brand newtires. New Maier Racing
ground effects kit including R model apron with air dam, new shelby hood scoop and side scoops, new Cobra billet gas cap, new horn set, new matte black bullet mirrors
and OEM fog lamps.
The engine is a289cubic inchV8 runs good with no issues. Unsure of mileage on engine. Does not smoke or boil over. New 289 HIPO chrome oval air cleaner and
chrome valve covers, new Holley 600 CFM 4V carburetor, Edelbrock aluminum 4V intake manifold, Duraspark electronic ignition with Accel Super Coil, new water pump,
new fuel pump, new Taylor 8mm wires cap and rotor, new Duralast starter. Exhaust is stainless headers running into dual 2 1/4 inch piping running into Flowtech Terminator
mufflers and turn downs dumped at rear axle. Car has a nice deep rumble. Transmission is a C4 three speed automatic. Shifts goodthrough all gears.
The interior has been redone with factory style seat upholstery, new woodgrain Cobra steering wheel, new door panels,newdash pad, new center console, new sill plates,
new kick panels, new headliner, new Pony floor mats, new rear shelf tray with seat divider, new turn signal switch and lever. Original radio installed, but not currently hooked
up. Heater blower works, but heater core has been bypassed.
Brakes are disc up front and drum out back with new correct oversize master cylinder. New disc brake kit up front with new shoes and cylinders in the rear. Suspension is all
stock with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear with an 8 inch rear end. Rear shocks are brand new and front shocks are in nice shape. Rear differential has been
topped off. Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover.
As with any 50 year old vehicle there may be imperfections, blemishes and possible defects. Do not expect this vehicle to be in brand new condition, it is a classic. It is a T
code Mustang making it an original 6 cylinder car from the factory. It was converted at some point in time to a V8 and was done correctly.
