Description

Selling our 1967 Ford F100 Custom Cab. Bought from original owner 3+ years ago, where it resided in New Mexico till here in '14.

In 2000-01 the owner had done a literal frame off restoration. It was in This Old Truck Magazine as a feature truck in early 2000's. There is a decal in the back window confirming that but not the year.

The bad: There are some cosmetic flaws I'll point out in pics as well. Located only along the bed, where above the chrome side bed trim, just above it an inch & half, that factory indentation that runs front to back, has some light bubbling along it. Guessing poor paint prep underneath from way back, only in some areas along that. Hard to see in pics, but can take more to send via email. There is also a very small 2" by 1/2" of mild rust bubble on the lower drivers side front fender as seen in the pic but despite that, the OEM replaced fender since restore is solid. The clear coat across the top of the bed sides, tailgate & some areas on the rooftop as seen in pics. The windshield has two small circular chip dings in it, not in line of sight that will NOT spread out over time. It has a crack on top of the dash vinyl in pic.It does have an older aftermarket AM/FMCassette stereo, which itself should be upgraded, doesn't work great at all.

The Good: Original back window was replaced with a sliding window. Chromed front bumper & has a heavy duty rear bumper with receiver but I never had anything to tow.

Everything in the dash is original, nothing cut out or hacked. All gauges work, wipers, headlights, heater, electric overdrive, etc. Weather stripping all around, excellent. The bench seat and was redone 3 years ago. Tires have 80+% tread left.

More Good: Numbers matching original engine was completely rebuilt as well with approximately less than 8500 miles since. It's the original more desired 352c.i., only made in '66-'67. The factory 2bbl manifold was swapped by orig owner for an Edelbrock Torquer 4bbl manifold with a Carter AFB carb on top. Pull the choke part way in winter & she fires right up. No issues there. Runs excellent, a nice idle, sounds great from the headers to the tail pipes. It does not burn or leak any oil. Also installed a new starter. I had only driven this truck less than 3500, give/take a few hundred miles in the last 3 years since we bought it, mainly just to area car meets, shows & our cabin a few hours away up north.

The original transmission, is the Borg Warner T85N-1-A with the rare, R-11 Electric Overdrive! Both were gone through past winter by a local transmission shop and the only thing they decided on, was to install heavy duty shifting forks & spring in the T-85N. A new clutch, pressure plate & flywheel was also installed with less than 350-450 miles ago on that whole package. The rare factory optioned R-11 electric overdrive was also rebuilt at the same time. Shifting is a smooth 3 on the tree.

Outside body, the bed is solid & amazingly straight on both sides without any signs of prior bodywork at all. Inside the beds integrity is great as well. Orig owner mounted a military ammo box that holds tools. Same with the fenders & doors, solid & straight. Whole under frame, solid rust free except surface rust, it's in 'A' condition.

Interior: Like new bench seat, All gauges work. Dash top has a crack in it. Previous owner non-smoker as well as I. Ashtray orig & like new.

I wouldn't hesitate to drive this coast to coast. Starts, runs & drives like a dream. Paint is a 5 of 10 on the upper bed, 8.5 on lower white, 8+ on overall cab red/white, I grade that mainly because the clear coat across the bed rails on top & the back tailgate and roof in spots plus couple paint flake off's along bed rail pass side. Hood, doors & elsewhere, again, vg-ex cond. NO scratches or scrapes, gouges, dents, etc or body work if opted to redo some paint. It was repainted when the 1st restoration was done with original, more desirable Rangoon Red & Wimbledon White two tone.

Only parting with because of injuries I have making it very difficult to shift for me. I don't have the heart to put an automatic in this. Have the Marti Report to view in the pics that will go with it.If you see something in the pictures or have questions please message or call me. The more informed a buyer is, the happier I am.Please remember that if you want to have it inspected by an outside party, I am fine with that too or feel free to fly into Boise airport & I'll pick you up in it.Otherwise reach out to me via message or phone me at 208-860-0778 and I can arrange for the truck to be available. Also if ANY other pics desired, I can t x t them to you as well, just ask what you want pics of.

Terms: Buyer is to pay with a $500 Paypal deposit within 3 days of auction close for positive feedback. The remaining balance to be paid by wire transfer or cash ONLY! NO personal checks, bank checks or money orders. I will assist in any way I can with shipping.

*MIKE* in Delaware (and anyone else), your # was accidentally deleted to get back, but yes, I mentioned that all the extra parts, some new, some orig, I'm including in the sale, as an extra fact radiator, ex. fact gas tank, new fact water pump & boxes of misc orig parts from 1st restore are included in the sale as it all came with the truck when I bought it back in '14. It's why I said probably best to drive it back rather than ship all these extras.

*FYI Regarding feedback if concerned. I am a bit disgusted with Ebay & had it out w/ them earlier today with regards to their feedback 'formula'. Since 1999, I maintained a 100% positive feedback, 1142 of them matter of factly. It took one last Nov., who posted "DID NOT HAVE IT AND WAITED 5 DAYS TO TELL ME." Fact of the matter was it was ALMOST 3 days, by the hours &his payment cleared day before. (My ads say 2 business days after pymt clears) He didn't read that either. We had a death in the family & north of here where it was, there is NO cell reception (big mountains, 1 road). As soon as we got home, I emailed him that we had a DIF, no reception, etc & I'll get the part out to him by morning. A few hours later, never replied, he just posted the negative feedback. Needless to say, he got a quick refund & the part was relisted & sold to another buyer days later. So, scroll thru ALL of my past feedbacks prior to that 1 neg from him, of 1143 total (I believe you can go back to the very beginning) & you wont find any more exist. It's a lot of work maintaining an excellent feedback ratio to have just 1 person screw it up without even communicating. They only go back the last 12 mos. This July will be 20 yrs for me on here & this will be the 3rd vehicle I've sold ('69 Firebird 400 & '66 GTO).

Anyways in case it happened to you & wondered why, this was Fleabay's explanation:

The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time).

Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the recent ratings table on the left.
