Description
RARE 1931 FORD A 400 CONVERTIBLE SEDAN. Southern California car, Stored since 1978, car runs and drives, but should be mechanically inspected before driving because of it's long storage. The body is in great condition and all body panels are straight. It has an original Ford trunk rack, both rare ash trays, correct mirror bracket, seat adjuster with handle, correct chrome wiper motor, correct ignition pop out switch, restored correct speedometer, original dash, extra chrome windshield frame, new old stock A 400 wind wings still in the box, this is an original California black plate car. This rare A400 was purchased in 1960 in Santa Rosa California. The Gentelman owned the car until 2009. The front fenders need a little work, small rust spot at bottom of left cowl and a rust strip in bottom of left door. ( see pictures) I have a lot of paperwork regarding the A400, copies of factory books and articles. This would make a great unrestored driver as is or it could be restored and be one of the finest in the country. The interior is in poor condition and the car has no top. All seat springs appear in good condition. Wood sub frame is in good condition. I have top brackets, but car will need wood bows new top and wood header. This car is sold in it's as is condition with no warranty of any type offered. I require a non refundable deposit of $1000.00 . You may call with questions, Ed 909 721 0030
