Description

You are bidding on a beautiful rust-free 1967 Mustang convertible. Power top, power steering car. Very strong driver quality paint. Detailed engine bay, new interior and everything is in working condition.
DRIVETRAINOriginal drivetrain including 289 engine, C-code car. C4 transmission, and 8" rear end. Car starts right up, hassle free. Petronix electronic ignition. Can drive any reasonable distance with confidence. Motor is detailed and rust free like rest of engine bay.
BODY AND PAINTCar is very straight and all panel gaps are nice. Paint is very nice and resembles Poppy red. Looks great on this car! Especially with white top and 2 tone interior. Believe driver's rear quarter panel to have been replaced at some point but was welded in properly. Car is not full of bondo and is a very clean example. All chrome is in great shape or brand new. No dings or dents, a couple touched up paint chips. You won't have to do anything. Doors and windows operate as they should. No sag in this convertible. Trunk very solid with no rust.
INTERIORSeats were just professionally reupholstered. New carpet just installed as well. Car is an original center console car and retains it. All lighting is working as are gauges. Radio is not hooked up. good visors, door panels, dash. All is custom dyed to blend with the car exterior.
WHEELS AND BRAKESTires are in great shape. Mustang has its original 14" wheels with new styled steel wheel type hubcaps. The car has 4 wheel drum brakes which are in good condition and stop evenly.
UNDERCARRIAGEThe undercarriage is rock solid and rust free. If you chose to modify this car this is the type of platform you want to build from. The exhaust is in good condition. No signs of anything leaking.
The convertible top looks great but has some repairs. If you're the type to put the top down and leave it down then no big deal. If its going to be going up and down then I recommend replacing it. I can have this done for an additional fee of $1500 above sale price. That's new pads, window curtain, and top.
Convertible Mustangs are very popular right now and the 1967 is a great transition year that has a lot of the early Mustang look but bigger and safer. The '67 Mustang convertible is iconic and this one has a slightly more custom and unique look that truly turns heads. The car was previously bought in the Carolinas and i'm helping a friend sell it. I can help with locating shipping and loading the car. Clean title and all identification on car.
