Description
1971 Maverick has a newly rebuilt 302 bored .030 over which makes it a 306ci. Motor has SRP pistons, 10.1 compression, comp. solid roller camshaft, Dart-roush aluminum heads, scorpion roller rockers, edelbrock air gap intake, and Quick fuel brawler carburetor. Has new billit steel flywheel, Mc Leod clutch and pressure plate. Has new modern driveline hydraulic clutch release system. The transmission is a newly rebuilt T/5Z 5 sp.transmission. The rear end is an 8" with all new bearings and seals, new 3.80 gear, and tru-trac posi unit. Has a brand new Dennys alum. drive shaft. The car has manual brakes and steering. The front end has been rebuilt with new bushings, inner and outer tie rod ends, tie rod sleeves, etc. The whole brake system has been redone, with new hard lines front and rear, new rear brake shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, and drums. The front brakes have a complete Wil-wood 11.5 disc brake set-up. New gas tank and lines. New electric fuel pump and regulator. Has new front Jegs 15"X4" wheels and M/T 26" 6" radial tires. The car has all original sheet metal and including floors and trunk. The paint looks very nice and the interior is all original and is in excellent condition. This car is overall in very nice shape with only about 25 miles on the drivetrain.
