1936 Ford Roadster Hot Rod, Street Rod, Convertible, Cabriolet

This is a very cool old hot rod. It is an older build that was done right. The body was made by J. B. Donaldson. It is an exact copy of a 1936 Ford Roadster. In fact, the hood, windshield frame, grille, lights, bumpers, and all chrome / stainless trim are original Ford and metal. It is also sitting on an original 1936 Ford frame. Right down to the dropped straight axle up front and leaf spring rear. It has only had 19,588 miles put on it since the build. The paint is still very nice. Just a very few rock chip touch ups. It is hard to tell, but the main body is a very dark burgundy and the fenders are black. The top is cloth and super nice. I also have the factory style plastic side windows that zip in at the top, and snap on to the door top to make it somewhat rain tight. The top mechanism consist of chromed metal and highly finished oak. The interior is leather I think. If it is not leather, then it is a very high grade vinyl. The driveline is a High Output 305 cu in small block Chevy mated to a turbo 350, and a 10 bolt rear end. The driveline is rock solid and plenty fast. A very reliable car that starts right up and cruises without a bunch of rattles or weird noises. The dual exhaust has a nice deep sound but not too loud. Remote power steering and disc brakes. Drives like a dream. Great stance too.
It has a clear Missouri title in my name and it is titled as a 1936 Ford.
