Description Bought this truck to restore but unfortunately time has not allowed me to do so. A California1964 Ranchero with a - I think a 289 cc or could be a 302 - not sure how to tell the difference coupled to an automatic three speed transmission. This truck was upgraded from a 6 cylinder engine to the V8 - the wheels are all 4 lug. Decent tires just smaller tires and wheels in the front. No power steering and no power brakes - have to press with pressure on the brake pedal to stop. Appears that some work was done to the motor - I see a lot of gasket sealer. No smoke on start up or while driving.Have replaced the battery and I noticed that the starter and alternator were replaced at some point. Slight exhaust leak from flange at the manifold. Transmission shifts fine. Some oil leaks from I think the pan - engine and the transmission pan.The radiator was upgraded to a alumunim radiator. All the exterior lights work not the dash lights. - no horn and no emergency brake plus no seat belts. Interior was also changed to buckets - not sure what the seats came from. The floors have been repaired - frame rails have no rust and are solid. The body is in decent shape and straight with an older paint job showing some defects. - good at 20 feet. Very good chrome pieces and bright work. Excellent candidate for a restoration. I hope that I have covered the vehicle condition and anything that I did not disclose was not intentional - also you have to know that this is a 55 year old truck so there might be some latent defects.Get images that make Supersized seem small. | Tailor your auctions with Auctiva's Listing Templates! |
