Description

Beautifully Restored 1966 Candy Apple Red Mustang Convertible "A" Code 289 4V V8 Trans C4 Automatic
HAVE TO SELL MY 1966 MUSTANG GT LIKE(mock) CONVERTIBLE FOR MY SON'S ONGOING AUTISM AND VERBAL APRAXIA THERAPY
NEVER REALLY GOT THE TIME TO ENJOY THIS CAR BUT MY NUMBER #1 PRIORITY IS MY SON AND HIS THERAPY SO IT'S TIME TO PART WITH HER.
I don't know much about old cars to be completely honest, so i will be listing all the information including invoices of upgrades and work done before and after i purchased her on ebay back in May of 2015. My midlife crisis car, was divorced and she was the first thing i bought. I put way more into her then i can get because i don't have the time to wait it out for the right price. I desperately need the funds for my son's autism therapy and verbal apraxia. If you require proof that my son does have autism then i can definitely furnish you any needed documentation to put your mind at ease from UCLA all the way to Kennedy Krieger Institute. (Aba, speech(slp), OT, Social Skill therapy, etc you name it he gets it and there is nothing i won't part with to give him everything he needs.)
The car is a 1966 candy apple red exterior with black convertible top. The interior is black with a redish black carpet. The top is still relatively new. The undercarriage is nice with very little rusting same with the engine, see photos.

The only issue that i could find with the car is that the gas ball probably needs to be dropped to be reset. Other than that the car is very nice and comes with the convertible top strap down cover and pads for driving with the top down. The trunk weather stripping was replaced but they did not do the best job sealing one of the corners but this can easily be fixed. Comes with the spare tire and trunk interior cover and the trunk looks pretty clean see photos. and jack and bar are not original at all kind of worn)
I am including the Mustang decoder online results scan so just ask me for it and i can send it to you since the pictures don't allow for text unfortunatelyi would love to keep this car but financially times are tough and my sons autism and apraxia therapy are my main concern otherwise i would never be selling this car. Many hills and valleys in my life the last few years, but i have been blessed to know that selling her is the right thing to do.
