Description

1970 F250 Ford pick up standard cab truck. Only 51,960 original miles! This is a basic F250 4x2 with no air conditioning, power steering or power brakes. Just a great heavy duty truck. (These trucks have a cult following.) This F250 has been my father's truck for many years. He purchased it from the original owner. This truck was cared for and in amazing condition when he purchased it. It has always been stored inside with a cover.I had a local body shop restore it last year. All the new parts came from Dennis Carpenter out of Concord, NC.They have the original stampings directly from Ford. No cheap Chinese parts on this truck! It has the original 360 V8 engine. It starts and runs perfectly. No smoke or knocks.Smooth shifting 4-speed transmission with granny low.The carburetor has been rebuilt. New fuel pump and tune-up parts. The under carriage has been cleaned and painted with frame paint. The original paint code was used for the new base coat clear coat. The new Dennis Carpenter parts included: new tailgate with all mechanicals, new rear bumper, all new lenses, new grille, headlight surrounds, and other trim pieces. New mirrors. New windshield and rear sliding window gaskets. New radiator support. New wheel wells. New thresholds.
The bed has been coated with spray-on bedliner.Newer BFG A/T tires. The interior is in unbelievable original condition. Near perfect seat, dash and headliner. We can help arrange transport delivery or we can pick you up at the Des Moines Airport if you want to drive it home. We encourage anyone interested in this truck to come and take a look. Located in central Iowa. Contact me for any further information.
