Rare- 1 of only 676 big block convertibles built in 1968!This is a genuine "S" Code Mustang GT convertible with 4-speed transmission built at the Metuchen Assembly plant on 2/07/68. Documented with Elite Marti Report and Original Build Sheet.Not only is this a Rare "S" Code convertible, but according to the Kevin Marti's Report it is 1 of 1 built with these options.

The rare Meadowlark Yellow exterior color is striking on this fresh, no expense spared, nut and bolt, rotisserie restoration with impressive attention to detail. The body panels are very straight with beautiful two stage paint that has no chips, dings or scratches.

The interior is beautiful as new and has been completely and professionally redone in its original black color and it complements the exterior color perfectly.The radio has been upgraded to an AM/FM and all the gauges work including the clock!

This Mustang was restored as it was built new from the Ford Motor Company in 1968.Look at the undercarriage pictures, the detailed floors and suspension includes factory paint and chalk marks with everything refinished in the original type of factory finishes.

All of the glass, chrome and trim are excellent and the original GT wheels are fitted with F70-14 Firestone wide ovals for the original look, including the spare.

This is not a restoration that needs to be tinkered with to get it on the road and enjoy.This car is ready to go!The engine is not the original to the car but it is a correct 390 fully rebuilt that has been dialed in to idle and accelerate the way it should.The 4-speed shifts smoothly and the steering and power disc brakes make this GT a pleasure to drive!
