1979 Ford F150 Flareside Project Truck
Description
This is a Project Truck, no other way to say it. Please take care to examine the pictures. It has some surface rust, incomplete interior, etc.
What you see is what you get.
351m, automatic transmission, short bed, flareside. 184,335 miles indicated, no idea of actual.
Runs, drives.
You can see at the end of the photo gallery I've included the initial inspection results from my mechanic when I bought the truck. The next photo is the invoice of all the work that has been done to the truck since then. I've completely rebuilt the rear end. Fixed the brakes, serviced the diff, installed a transmission cooler, and put on brand new wheels/tires (the pictures taken outdoors are prior to my purchase, I no longer have those wheels. The new wheels are in the photos taken within the storage unit). In all, about $4000 dollars worth of parts/labor in repairs to the truck.
It runs, drives, starts stops all of that. I drove the truck all the way acrossIndiana and Illinois back to Iowa just fine. The truck could use a new steering dampener, theres some play in the wheel, I was intending to remove the 4 inch lift and replace it with a level kit, so I opted not to replace that right away.
Bought as a project, life’s changed and I can’t keep it. Solid place to start for a restoration or custom build. I have some misc parts like door panels, bug shield, grill surroundthat will be included in the sale.
Pickup only, for sale elsewhere, will need a PayPal deposit after auction closes. Have the Clean Title in hand.
Feel free to text 3196515400 for any additional information or any questions you have. I will try to share some videos to the listing but if I can't sort that out I can provide them via text.
