1931 Ford Model A roadster pickup ***Price Change**
Description
Up for sale is this 1931 Ford Model A roadster pickup. Was told this was built in the early 80's, and it has most of the rod building parts of those days. Full set of Stewart Warner gauges, gm tilt column, corvair independent front suspension, 9" Ford rear, posi, with 1/4 elliptical springs. The paint shows it's age as well, although in today's world of cars, the paint has great Character. Meaning it's a 20 footer, paint has it's share of scuffs and scratches. It was built in the Vancouver Washington area, near the home of Wescott fiberglass. This is a fiber glass Wescott body and fenders. Original steel bed, original Model A frame that was boxed. Recently added was the white pin stripes, chrome reverse wheels with new tires. The rear tires are cool Hurst cheater slicks. Has a small block Chevy, with a new Edlebrock carb, and a th350 auto trans. The roadster Pu is a fun driver as it sits, and it gets a lot of attention!! There is a couple things I would change/clean up. The rear shocks are mounted at to much of an angle, I would change the angle of the shocks to get a little better ride. It has a newer wiring harness, with modern blade ATO fuses, but the wiring itself is a bit of a messy install, I would clean up the messy wiring. Neither of these are a huge deal, just a couple things I would do if I was keeping it. Not pictured, is a three piece hood that comes with it. New, never mounted and never painted, smooth one piece top, and both hood sides with original style louvers. It does have a Washington title, and is titled as a 1931 Ford pu. Check out the pictures, ask questions. This is For Sale locally so this auction could end at Any time. It is For Sale, as is, where is. Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping expenses.
