Description

Built from scratch by Hercules Motor Car Company. Building Woodies is their expertise, because that's all they build! Visit their site to learn more. They advertise "body kits starting at $32,500". We are offering a complete, running finished car for only $43,998. This was one of the first cars they built, there were 2 almost identical. The other one sold for $80,000. There are only 9,400 miles since built. That says it can certainly be driven and enjoyed. EXTERIOR: The... fit of the wood body is very impressive. Very tight gaps, the doors close solid and dont rattle. They used piano hinge from top to bottom on the doors. Looks like oak boards with birch inserts. In back it has a two part tailgate door. The glass is all tinted. The door windows can be slid out the top. The cowl, hood, running boards and aprons are metal, fenders are glass. The hood is 3 pieces, can be used with the sides removed. The paint overall shows really well. Its glossy and even. You may find some minor nicks or touch ups. The roof is padded and upholstered in a durable sail fast vinyl, mint condition. Some nice vintage features include the big Ford headlights, the original style stainless steel bumpers, step plates and door handles. It gets the hot rod look from the stance and staggered size tires on aluminum wheels. INTERIOR: It has plush upholstery, bucket seats in front and a bench in back. Buckets are adjustable. Seat belts for everyone. Custom cut carpet with contrasting sewn edges and matching mats. The ceiling is finished wood slats. The inside of the doors are finished wood. The dash and tilt steering wheel are trimmed in wood. There are a nice set of vintage style VDO gauges. They used a Lokar floor shifter, emergency brake handle and throttle pedal linkage. It also has a stereo system with 4 speakers. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a spunky 302 motor. Upgraded with aluminum high rise, Holley carb, shorty headers, MSD ignition. The radiator is cooled with electric fans, has overflow bottle. The air conditioning system is complete. UNDERSIDE: It is painted, chromed and polished. Has custom made frame. Upfront the steering and suspension are all chrome. Has drop axle, transverse spring and 4 link. In back it has 4 link and coil over shocks. There are disc brakes at all four corners. The bottom of the motor has a good looking finned aluminum oil pan, new starter. The trans is a 700R-4 overdrive automatic with chrome pan. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch. Real nice, custom bent exhaust, looks like it is stainless. Everything under the car is tidy and proper, professionally assembled. TRAILER: Free bonus- it includes a trailer done up to match the car. Painted the same color, trimmed with wood and even has matching aluminum wheels. It features a fold down trunk rack, model A taillights and a bumper. The inside stays dry and is carpeted. All you need is gas and a surfboard! Air conditioning 4 wheel disc Matched trailer Seat belts Reclining buckets Smoked glass Tilt wheel Step plates Stereo
