Build Info
This is a no rust California car with a clean title. Almost every single part of the vehicle has been restored and/or upgraded then road tested. This car was stored for over 10 years in an indoor garage before we rescued it! Now it's had$20k in new parts with 1200 hours labor in a 6 month frame on build.
My father and I built the car at our low volume hot rod shop in Texas. My father is a 50-year master fabricator and hot rod builder.
Drivetrain: Rebuilt 1969 Mustang 351 Windsor and C4 Transmission. The engine has a cam and sounds great! Car is fast and reliable! All NEW; Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4 barrel carb w/ electric choke, March Underdrive Pulley set, MSD Billet Distributor, MSD 6AL Ignition, MSD Blaster Coil, MSD wires, spark plugs, Shelby Cobra valve covers, Shelby Cobra air cleaner, 100 amp alternator, battery, solenoid, Aluminum Radiator and Old Air Electric Fan. All new water pump, fuel pump, fuel lines, gas tank, sending units and assorted gaskets, etc...Headman headers into custom fabricated side exit exhaust. Exhaust is tucked up underthe car and routed around TCI chassis. New TCI Independent Front Suspension includes new motor mounts. The entire car was rewired with new American Auto Wire harness and fuse panel.
Exterior:NEW Eleanor Shelby GT500 body kit including; front upper and lower fascia, billet grills, fog lights, hood, fender flares, side skirts, lower scoops, trunk, spoiler and taillight panel. Car was stripped, prepped, sealed and painted multiple coats of Hot Rod Flat Black. Nothing to hide, there are a couple of very minor paint blemishes. We think it adds character. The car has great driver quality paint and shows extremely well! NEW; 1967 Shelby taillights, headlights, LED turn signals, aluminium Shelby Cobra gas cap, door handles, locks, mirrors, chrome trim, rubber and period correct 1967 Shelby GT500 fender badges. Car is satin black with gloss black Shelby stripes & GT500 side stripes.Be prepared for people to stop and ask about this car everywhere you go!
Interior:Beautifull interior with period correct,real wood, Shelby Cobra steering wheel, Shelby 140 mph gauge cluster with Carbon Fiber gauge faces, Shelby 3" lap belts, Retrosound and Kicker stereo and a TMI Suede Headliner. Plus many more modern updates mixed with classic styling.All NEW parts include; Wood Cobra steering wheel, Ididit billet Steering Column, 1966 Shelby Mustang 140 mph gauge cluster w/ Carbon Fiber Gauge face and adjustable voltage regulator, TMI front seat upholstery, TMI door panels, TMI suede headliner, Shelby Cobra sill plates. New shifter, shift handle, glove box, heat ducts, switches, door locks, lock rods, window regulator, heater controls, package tray, dash pad, sun visors, speaker grill, carpet, Shelby 3" lap belts and more. Chassis: All NEW TCI Mustang II Independent Front Suspension including; new Mustang II shocks, stock shock tower delete plates, spindles, bearings, ball joints, sway bar, poly bushings and custom Eaton Detroit Spings. New T-bird quick ratio power steering and end links.New TCI subframe, the entire underside of the car was stripped and painted.TCI 3-link Torque Arm - Independent Rear Suspension w/ coil overs, TCI Ford 9â€w/ 355 gears and Strange axles.All NEW American Racing Torq Thrusts w/ Shelby centercaps (17x7 & 17x9). Nitto tires, Nitto Neo Gen on the front and NT555 275/40/17 on the rear.(Can fit up to 10.5 inch wheel with 315 tire.)All fourwheels are 12" Wilwood disk brakes with stainless brake lines. This car handles like it's on rails and stops great!
