Rust free CA car.
Runs and drives.
I have maint/records back to 1980.
1 owner from 82'ish till I got it about 18 months ago.
Car was restored back in the early 80's from what I can tell.
Had the roadster package put on in the correct manner.
Power driver seat works.
Am radio works great.
New tires on steel rims.
Have the spoke rims that came on it in pics you see, with new HD inner tubes.
Chrome good, straight, no rust/pitting
Inter was red, dyed blue
Car was a Silver blue, painted back in the 80's to what you see now.
Top works good
Exhaust is fine, pipes, mufflers.
Exhaust manifolds need new gaskets, it is a little loud.
New fuel pump.
Came with a carb rebuild kit but I drive it, runs decent as is.
All orig, still has generator.
All windows power and work.
Heat works, ac does not. Took it off but kept the compressor.
All the controls work on the HVAC, fan speeds, on off, direction of air tc all work.
Tonneo cover is nice, not cracked. Has passenger hand pull, correct fender scrips, sticker in center
console, all the things the roadsters had is on this car. IT IS A CLONE ROADSTER.
Motor was rebuilt about 10k miles, being around the early 80's based on paper work I have.
I have a decent records history on this car. Brakes done in the 90s, about 10k ago, new brake booster back then.
Car stops on a dime.
Motor sounds good, quiet, no noises, just needs gaskets to silence the manifolds.
This car came with no seat belts as a option. They put some in the back seat, I think for grand baby car seats.
Older couple had it since 80's, male owner passed several years ago, wife sold it, that is how I got it.
Lots of history with this car.
California car, bottom clean, no rust in it, no surface rust. Been in my garage since I got it.
New gas gauge sending unit.
Dash lights do not work.
Gauges work, dummy lights come on at start up as they should.
All other lights work, blinkers, backups, all of them.
****Gear shift Dentent seems to have been replaced, old one in the car when I got it but trans linkage not right, put in park it wants to drop into reverse. You can put the while into the slide feature to the the right and it will still start and stay in park.

Great car to restore with out the mess of extensive sheet metal work.
Car does have a loan on it locally. That will need to be handled for the sale.

For those that have caught it. There is paint color difference around both rear wheel openings. I do not know what happened there. Came that way when I got it. I have run a magnet over all of it and it is metal. The inner arch/lip is also metal with the drilled holes for the skirts that this car did not come with, not listed as an option either on that option sheet I have in my records. I can only think that at some point there may have been paint bubbling years ago and it was fixed and color matched the best it could be.Also on one of the top pics of the pass side about top of window level you will see a 1/2 tear in it. That is the only bad spot in the top.

Another update. I fixed the year of the car on the Flikr Album, I had 61. OopsI have added about 35 pics and a few video's of car as of this post. Video of motor running so you can hear the loud exh manifolds talking to you. I have a video of the Top in action, video of the interior, and a quick walk around. Sorry the video quality it not better but it works I think. I took pics showing more of the interior. The seats look good but the material is old and a little stiff.
Looked at my records of the car. I have a copy of the gate release (see pic) for the car. It did come for fender skirts but I don't have them now. Spoke rims you see in pics is a 15" rim as are the steel rims you see now.Little run down on work done to car in 80's early 90's. Prev owner put most of the repairs on a spreadsheet, I have most recpts that match it.Lower bottom of motor rebuilt in 2/84 at 71kBrakes/shoes/drums/wheel cyc fluid done 4/90Water Pump and gas tank 7/88Mufflers 12/91Brake Booster 6/85Trans over haul at 72k 2/84Orig AM radio rebuilt 3/81 - works awesomeHeater core 6/85Clutch for fan 4/90
Those are the main things. So you are not buying a car with some MAJOR components never having been touched since 62 or even early 70's.

All the windows work fine. None of them go off track. The noise in the top video, that noise when coming UP near the camera was not from the top or the system. Dude next store was out, he did something????Just so this in not missed. This car DOES have the gear shifter issue where it can come out of park. When I got the car there was a old dentent plate in glove box, I assume a new one was put in because it does not drop out of any other gear. Seems to me the linkage was not adjusted at trans when they did that repair. You can hold it up into park and it will start or just push wheel to the right and start it there and in that position it does not drop out of park or go into any gear at all.Sorry for the constant updates. Trying to be as forth coming as I can. The little things I took for granted with the car, its old, I did not think to post in my initial post of this ad.
