These Bronco IIs have such a great off-road reputation because they combine a compact wheelbase with good ground clearance. The motor is believed to be original to the 4x4, and it certainly looks the part of a well-respected survivor. This 1986 model came along after Ford upgraded the motor to a fuel-injected 2.9-liter V6. That means a better power delivery with added torque to pull you up the hill. While all of this sounds like your perfect off-road toy, this Bronco is also equipped to all kinds of journeys.
