1967 Ford Falcon Van
Description
Up for auction is my 1967 Ford Falcon Van. This van has been a pleasure to own over the past couple years, but my interest has turned to 1950's cars lately. This has been a fan favorite at car shows, people just seem to flock to it.I am the third owner. The man I purchased it from told me that the original owner was a farmer who used this to take produce to the market. The second owner repainted the van in the original Lunar Green some time before I bought it. He also replaced the tires, installed new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, rebuilt the master cylinder, and replaced the shocks. After taking ownership I performed some work on it as well to make sure it would be a reliable vehicle. I have replaced the starter, alternator, voltage regulator, water pump, radiator, fuel pump, fuel sending unit, valve stem seals, rebuilt the carburetor, and performed a tune up. The steering gearbox has also been rebuilt, the transmission output shaft seal was replaced, and the shift linkage was adjusted. The exhaust manifold, muffler, and tailpipe are also new.The van's 3 speed transmission shifts nice and the clutch feels great. The engine is the optional 150hp 240 straight six and the rear axle is the heavy duty 9" with the 3.00:1 ratio. The brakes feel nice and the parking brake works as it should.I often drive it to work on nice days. The gauges, wipers, and lights all work, no electrical gremlins here. The side windows are the pop-out style and the seals for all of the windows are in great shape. With the exception of the bottom part of the driver's seat, all of the other upholstery is original. It is next to impossible to find one of these vans with an intact rear seat, let alone one in this condition.Feel free to ask me anything about the van or to schedule an inspection. Thanks!
