1987 Ford LTD Country Squire
Description
For sale is a 1987 Ford LTD Country Squire.
Vehicle is a LX with the 302. Has every option for the year except for the load leveling suspension and the trailer tow package. Brown with a brown leather interior, upholstery is in perfect condition, no tears, rips or visible wear. Vehicle runs and drives great, everything electronic works. Drives down the road quietly, no abnormal noises. Vehicle has just had the cooling system completely redone and the front cover resealed. No leaks of any kind. According to the previous owner the transmission is only 10,000 miles old. Brakes were redone at around the same time. All fluids are clean. All tires have about 7/32 tread and are matching whitewalls. Driver's door lock is finicky but still locks from the outside.
Only real flaws with this vehicle are cosmetic. There is a dent in the left front fender (was there when I bought it), the plastic coating on the outside trim around the wood panels is peeling (Not the wood panels themselves).Has some slight paint bubbling in the corner of the left rear and right rear fenders and some on the bottom of the inside of the driver's door and the right lower corner of the tailgate. I've included pictures of all of it. Undercarriage is really clean and is undercoated. No rust aside from slight surface rust on the axles and front suspension. This wagon spent the majority of its life in New York which required regular safety inspections and emission inspections. It didn't come to Michigan until 2012, and wasn't driven in any Michigan winters.
I bought this wagon off the original owner's son, who inherited it upon the original owner's passing. I have the build sheet and original A title, all of the original documentation and owners manuals and a dealer brochure, as well as a license plate frame and keychain from the dealer in Long Island, New York that sold it brand new. I love the old Panther cars and couldn't pass this one up when it appeared for sale. Reason I'm selling it is because I've bought my ideal classic, a Buick Reatta, and since then the wagon has just been an extra car. I don't have a place to store it so it's been parked on the street. My neighbor is complaining about it so I decided it has to go. My loss is your gain.
$3,500 OBO, any reasonable offer considered. Vehicle is sold AS-IS with no warranty or guarantee expressed or implied. Vehicle is listed locally. Buyer has to arrange pick up.
