An eye-grabbing and exceptional condition 1965 Ford Mustang A-Code Convertible with a 4 Speed Manual Transmission, built- and built right- for every classic Pony enthusiast. With a brand new convertible top, new suspension all the way around, and a recent restoration, this 1965 Mustang is a key-turn away (and a highest bid!) from being an absolute dream-driver for it's next owner. Viva Las Vegas Autos Known History... Every so often, I find a gem like this 1965 Mustang Convertible. Most of the time, when I review the list of cars available to me, I will get there and not be very impressed with what I find. That was NOT the case with this classic Pony. Almost instantly I knew I was going to own this beauty. First, I loved the color combination. Poppy Red with the White Convertible Top and Interior, a stunning combination to say the least. The second thing that made me really excited was seeing the overall condition and drivability of this sweet ride. The paint finish was driver quality sho, obviously older but in great shape and shiny. The interior at a glance looked brand new, then opening the engine bay and wow, it was like looking at factory stock car, not seen too often these days. The next thing I did was drop to the pavement to see if it was as nice underneath as it was up top...and there was no surprises there...very decent underneath and obviously fully restored, refinished and properly patched. It became quickly clear that this car was not just a refurbishing, but a full on restoration. A car that was completely disassembled and fully rebuilt from the bottom to the top. New seals, rubber, bushings, everything was done and done very right. The next step, start the car and listen to it run....Again, no question, you could hardly even hear the engine it purred to perfection. Tested everything electrical before I bought the car. Buying the car was exciting because I really enjoy finding those cars that my buyers can enjoy and drive. When you can buy a driver quality car that looks and performs this good, that's my dream car. I have had plenty of garage queens that were flawless of to near to flawless that I never wanted to drive them anywhere. That WILL NOT be the case here. The restoration was performed with a conscience mindset that the car would be enjoyed and hopefully driven regularly. The only reason our seller sold it to us was because they had two of them taking up the garage and the Mrs...she wanted her parking space in the garage. So, take a serious look at the numerous pictures we post and ask yourself if you are looking for the same. A fantastic looking and exceptionally functional 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible A-Code with great options and superb care. Viva Las Vegas Autos Preparations... Whenever we buy a classic vehicle like this, our first steps of getting it ready for market are through a thorough visual, mechanical and functional inspection. We get in every car, turn every knob, and push every button to ensure that it works. The old top on this car was in pretty rough shape, so we had a new one professionally upholstered. It is an electronically driven top, and it goes up and down with ease, secures to the vehicle tightly when put up, and has a beautiful boot to cover it when it is all the way down. The pony interior on this car is done in a beautiful white, and shows little to no signs of wear. It also includes an aftermarket center console that matches. All of the guages are fully functional, including the RARE Rally Pack Clock and Tachometer. All of the windows go up and down without issues. When any vehicle arrives at our shop, the first thing we do is put it on a lift and do a quick power-wash of the undercarriage. This frees the car of any dirt and grime underneath, as well as reveals any mechanical issues that need to be attended to. The suspension under this car was dated, so we ended up redoing the entire suspension front and back with OE suspension parts. We did a mild refurbishing of the undercarriage of this car, in order to bring it as close as possible to the way it originally came out of factory. You will see in the pictures that the floor is a primer red, which is an iconic design that Ford produced on these mustangs. Conditional Assessment... Read, view and pour over hundreds of pictures. We don't hide anything and we have years of satisfied clients as you can see in our feedback. This is a nicely restored and road ready Mustang Convertible. If you want this car like I did when I saw it, then make it rain $100s and watch how excited I get to see you win and own this car. That is what I am about. People ask me all the time, "have you ever wanted to keep one?" Of course I have, like this one, but I love selling dreams and seeing people reach them. I get them, drive them, show them, meet great new friends with them and get to have all the beautiful models pose with them for a permanent record of my fabulous collection of thousands of cars over the last 17 years. You get to do the same if you want...or just sit there and wait until someone else calls me and makes an offer that buys your dream. Nah! Pick up the phone to make your deal with me, you won't get figures any other way unless you bid and hit the reserve. Good Luck and talk to you soon.
