Model A Ford Roadster pickup street rod
Description
1930 Model A roadster pickup- Channeled Brookville body with shortened pickup box. Not powered by the typical smallblock Chevy but a rebuilt turbo charged, electronic fuel injected engine from a 1988 SVO Mustang. These engines are known as Thunderbird Turbo Coupe power. The engine has a custom grind Comp Cam, adjustable cam gear and a stainless header. This is followed by a rebuilt 5 speed and a 9 inch Ford rear axle. The chassis also came from Brookville Roadster, and includes Carrera coilovers, rack and pinion steering gear, Lincoln brakes and a dropped Superbell axle and powder coated wheels and Coker tires. Electrically, the pickup has an Optima battery, Powermaster one wire alternator, Stewart Werner gauges, guide headlights and 34 Ford taillights. The seats are leather covered with heating elements installed but the wiring has not been completed and the steering wheel is a cut down 39 Ford Banjo wheel. Titled as a 1930 Ford Pickup.
