Description

This is an older restoration of a Ford 1/2 Ton platform delivery stakerack. It has an original Ford flathead v-8, 100 hp with an original 3 speed floor shift. The brakes have been upgraded to hydraulic, with discs on the front, drums on the back. It still has the original wide 5 bolt pattern but the rims have been upgraded and widened for 16" radial tires. This gives the old truck a much better ride and handling. The engine has Edelbrock aluminum heads and Fenton headers with dual exhaust. The ignition has been upgraded to Mallory Electronic Ignition. New battery in 2016. All set to drive and put your business sign board on the side. (Some people might write it off for a business expense for advertising.)Afew pictures with the flags and bunting show the truck in past Cherry Festival Heritage Parades here in Traverse City, Michigan. I also have a rear seat for the back bed for your kids or grandkids. This truck was voted crowd favorite at a recent NMC car show and best antique truck at a Cherry Festival car show. I also have a Borg Warner T5, a 5 Speed fully synchromesh overdrive transmission along with the adapters to work with this flathead motor.(using closed driveshaft)
