After a full nuts and bolts body off restoration and with only 43 test miles, this beautiful 1946 Ford Supper Deluxe Convertible is up for sale. The owner and collector has decided to sale a few of his collection. This little Ford is one. A two owner car from new, and only 36,425 mileswere onthis very nice original car from Indiana when the restoration was started.AsI said a full nuts & bolts restoration. Complete disassemble of every part and reassembled with everything rebuilt or refurbished. Complete powered coated frame and rebuilt suspension, rebuilt engine, transmission, Columbia 2 speed rear end even the shocks were coated and refurbished. The nice rust free original body was striped to bare medal, medal finished and new maroon paint applied. All new interior as original was installed and a new tan harts top fitted. The interior is in maroon leather with cloth inserts as original. Sameas are the door panels, kick panels and all interior panels. The dash and garnish moldings have been re-wood grained in the correct colors and shows very nicely. All bright work has been re-plated or polished to perfection. The under side of the car is as nice as the top side. This car has every option Ford had available in 1946, Ford logo fog lights, Ford logo back up light, bumper wing tips front and rear, Grill guard, twin spotlights, twin swan neck mirrors, radio, heater, clock, fender skirts, Columbia 2 speed rear end, power hydraulic top and Ford option bomb sight hood ornament.This is one of the best 1946 Ford Convertibles in the world and now for sale.
