Description

Back in the 1920's and 30's one of the most common affordable cars of choice was the model A and Model T Ford. Millions were built to drive the beautiful highways like famous Rt 66 the Lincoln highway to name a few. The production line Fords could now allow people to cross this great country of ours, used for work, touring, sight seeing, etc.- The famous Ford. Along with the good came a little bad; when dads Ford would blow... a tire, overheat, pound a bearing, or a unfortunate road accident. Roadside general stores would add gasoline to their general inventory with perhaps a Wayne visible gas pump for dispensing. Soon roadside service stations entered the picture and if one was prosperous enough they would have a small Ford Wrecker to service the many Ford and Chevrolet light weights that might have had some misfortune. This little Wrecker is equipped with Weaver 3 ton crane and threaded with cable and hook with red emergency light and 2 chrome work lights on a folding bar. Although, this truck is fully functional, runs and drives excellent, this one is a tribute built for special display purposes. This restored roadster pickup was fitted with a tribute restored hand crank Weaver boom auto crane. It is clad in medium standard blue with white reveals, and red trim and lettering. Loaded with chrome accessories. Truly a beautiful show piece built by Billy's Big Boys Garage - a division of Volo Classic Cars.
