This car get's lots of attention everywhere it goes. It's a driver and not a show car. However it shows pretty well. This car runs and drives great. It was built for long distance cruises and tours. I have put over 8000 miles on it without a single issue.
It was built as a tribute to the GT350H Hertz mustang. I started with a genuine 1966 Mustang Fastback K code. All GT350 cars were built from K code cars. You can park this car next to a GT350H for comparison and find they are virtually identical. This car has less than 9000 miles since complete rebuild.
The transmission was upgraded to a 5 speed manual sourced from a 1993 Mustang GT. It shifts very nice.
The paint overall is in good condition with a few small chips that have been touched up. The gold stripe needs to be redone due to small imperfections. Overall the paint would be considered a 10 footer.
The interior is in good condition. Like most 1966 Mustangs this car has leaks when it rains. All the gauges and instruments work.
The windshield has a couple sanding scratches but in nice condition. The side windows are in okay condition with a few sanding scratches that can probably be polished out.
The spare tire and jack are included and the correct floor mat and tire cover are installed.
It has the cable installed for a manual choke but it has been converted to an electric choke.
This car has been driven on multiple car tours around Michigan and needs some TLC. Please look closely at the pictures. I have not cleaned or detailed the car so you can see exactly how it looks. A little cleaning and detailing and this car would look amazing. More pictures available upon request.
