The coupe was originally a 289 V8 but was later replaced with a fully rebuilt and upgraded horsepower 302. The body work is excellent: performed to perfection, it shows laser straight body lines and gaps, paint category is excellent. Door gaps are excellent: all doors, trunk, hood, floor were painted and also open/close properly. Windows roll up perfect and glass shows excellent condition, all glass chrome original and excellent condition, vent window chrome shows minor wear. Headliner, dash, door panels, trunk upholstery was upgraded and looks excellent. Electrical system: system and all lights in working order including: gauges which work excellent. To the engine: besides the paint and body work, this is one of the most stunning features of this car. The engine was professionally rebuilt, fires up and runs excellent! Engine professionally dressed to impress with Shelby valve covers, Shelby air cleaner, Edelbrock polished intake, Mallory wiring, Interstate battery, chrome alternator, Shelby billett gas cap. Safety features were upgraded with new USA made disc brake system in front (rear is drum), new master cylinder, new gas tank with Shelby Billet gas cap, new fuel line, new brakes lines, all new belts and hoses, all suspension components replaced and new. Truly this car is for the one who wants that weekend muscle car warrior or the individual that cruises to the occasional car show. This Shelby GT350 Hertz Tribute is even a great 1 of 1 car that can be added to any hot rod collection.
