This 1927 Ford "T" Lakes Modified Roadster by Zipper Motors is a one-off, hand-built, wonder with over 3,000 hours in the build. painted in PPG Tsunami Blue Mica w/ Clear Coat and Color Rite 3 stage Pearl Blazing Orange.
The fiberglass body with turtle deck trunk features a firewall and floor molded as one piece with the body. The body is fully steel reinforced. The doors have been suicided and come with a complete inner panel, hidden hinges and “Bear Claw” latches. In addition, the reveal has been removed for a smoother look and the convenience of doors that are 4″ wider and the recessed floor allows you to sit way down in this little car. I am 5’10 and fit comfortably. Has Chromefront & rear NERF bars and a Quick release steering wheel. This is one of the last chassis and body built by Darrell Zipp before he sold off Zipper Motors. It even comes with a VHS video with Darrell explaining exactly how to build the car using all his custom components.
