1966 Mustang Fastback Project

Description

Up for sale is a 1966 mustang fastback project. I started with a fastback that was to far gone and I found a solid 66 coupe to put the top on. All the frame rails are very straight. I replaced both inner aprons and used the original radiator support. Will still need floor patches, driver wheel house and quarter skin ( I have both) the top and quarter skin is just sitting in place at the moment. Included with the car is almost all the parts to build a very nice fastback. Shelby style hood, nice fenders, nice front end parts, Fastback door glass, fastback rear window and windshield all in good shape. All the drip rail moldings. Two fastback rear deck lids in nice shape. Nice original interior that could be used just how it is. Included is 4 large tubs of all the original parts plus extras. Right now the car is rolling and will steer for easy loading. 8 inch rear end, and v8 spindles. The new parts that are included are brand new upper and lower control arms with ball joints, new kick panels, new headliner, lots of new brackets and hardware, included with the car is a 302 and auto trans. Engine turns over easily by hand. Also include with the car is another set of nice doors, console. I know I'm forgetting stuff so please feel free to ask any questions or for any pictures, as for the title I do not have the title from the original fastback. There are ways to get a title, both apron bins match the original door tag. If buyer is interested I can provide a different fastback title for more money. That must be discussed prior to purchasing the car. I have a lot of projects in line at the moment so if I can't get a good offer I will put this car together and make it a driver. Please let me know if you have any questions. Deposit of $500 dollars is due within 24 hours of sale. The rest must be paid in cash at pick up or wired by bank. I will not accept PayPal for the whole amount, just the deposit. If someone would like this shipped that must be set of by the buyer. I will assist with loading but am not responsible for setting up shipping. Local pick up is welcome. I want to be completely clear this is a project and still needs a good amount of work. The top is just sitting there and I haven't really done much to try fitting it. The top was taken off the donor car nicely so it has all the support, but some of it is quite rusty and may need replaced. The coupe I started with was very nice and straight but not 100% rust free so there are a few spots that will still need attention The cowl is welded but is not finished.
