Texas Classic Cars Of Dallas is proud to showcase this stunning 1966 Ford Mustang GT convertible,Presented in stunning signalflare re, this fully restored GT is really something to own, this stang had been in El Pas, Tx almost since the car was new and purchased in 2003 by the current owner, This Mustang has undergone a professional rotisserie restoration as you can see by the quality work that has been done. The paint is still in good condition since the restoration done in 2004. It still looks great combined with all the chrome and GT accessories, it sure is a head turner.
With this great weather coming up what's a better time to own a convertibl, let alone a real Mustang GT convertible that has the same drive train as the Shelby GT350 from the factory making 271hp and paired to the exhilarating 4-speed manual transmission. The engine compartment has been nicely done in black and blue engine with chrome breather and valve cover, looks just like it came from the dealership. The trunk is clean and simple showing a vintage floor mat and full size spare tire, while the interior also looks like your stepping into 1966, it has been completely reupholstered in correct pony vinyl interior with matching seat belts. The dash features a 7 Gauge cluster and 8K rally pac tach, as well as a deluxe wood grain steering wheel. Another testament of the quality work and cleanliness of this GT is the undercarriag, looking like it is rarely driven you can be the one to enjoy this car to its potential.
Don't hesitate to call for more information or to schedule a test drive and feel free to stop by and check out many other great classics in our showroom.
We have checked all of the components that determine a real GT and we are sure this is the real thing.
The restoration was done in 2004. There are several photos in the slide show at the end of this ad that will showyouthe work in progress.n The body panels are all original. You will see farther down in the ad that there were some floor pans replaced.
The original engine was rebuilt during restoration.
We would like to thank the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight for their unique location used at many of our photo shoots.Be sure to visit this historical museum if you find yourself in the Dallas, Texas area.Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom is located only minutes away.
There was some rust in the floor pans, so they were replaced where needed. It was very minimal as you willseein the photos.
There have been very few miles put on the Mustang since it's restoration. You can see just a very small amount of surface rust on the undercarriage. Otherwise the undercarriage is extremely clean.
