PLEASE CALL ME AT (76O) 805-8O3EIGHT WITH ANY QUESTIONS. I WILL BE HAPPY TO DO A BUY IT NOW FOR SERIOUS BUYERS. This is a just a cool old car. It is a beautiful Suicide Door 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan that had a quality restoration performed about 15 years ago. These cars are sometimes referred to as a Baby Merc due to their resemblance to the Mercury cars of that era. It is not a Hot Rod. It was a 1950s classic style stock restoration. The Lincolns had quite a few custom car features that were included in stock form. Recessed headlights, suicide doors, and many other innovations made this a unique and advanced car when it was new. This one is powered by a Flathead V-8 and has a stock Hydramatic auto transmission. Most of these cars were three speed manual column shift models so it is quite a bit easier to drive with this automatic set up. The Lincoln has aftermarket Vintage Air Conditioning. The body is in excellent condition. There is no rust on this car. It is arrow straight. The hood was not quite latched down all the way for these pictures but does fit fine. The floorboards are like new and the underside is nearly as clean as the top. The paint was a quality spray but does have some clearcoat damage on the roof, trunk, and hood. It could be easily fixed but I personally would not do anything except turn the key and have fun with it. It runs very well, has a nice exhaust that gives it a great sound, and is ready to go. The interior is excellent. It is like new with the only exception being some sun fading on the top of the rear seat. The wood, paint, carpet, door panels, headliner, etc. are excellent. It has an aftermarket stereo with a wireless remote mounted in the glovebox so nothing was cut. It has factory power windows that all work. The chrome and stainless are excellent. The trunk is nicely done. If you are tired of looking at overpriced junk in your search for a nice cruiser, come and see mine. You will be pleasantly surprised how clean every part of it is and I do not think anybody will be disappointed with it. At least twice the asking price was spent on the restoration and you could not come anywhere close to building it for this kind of money. It is a great deal and will sell this first time advertised. I will also be listing a very nice 1957 Cadillac factory built Limousine and a 1958 Cadillac Coupe DeVille that is very original and extremely solid but needs restoration. My dog Johnny Cash would not be included in the deal for all of the money in the world. I am located in Solana Beach, California in North County Coastal San Diego. Take your whole family out for Ice Cream in style this summer!
