This 1972 Ford Bronco has been modified in the style of the limited-production Baja model, which was produced by Ford to commemorate victories in the Baja 500 and Baja 1000 by Bill Stroppe-prepared Broncos. Refurbishment of the exterior was conducted by a shop in Wyoming under previous ownership, and we had the build completed after our acquisition of the truck last year. We commissioned a shop in California to install new carpets, door panels, side mirrors, sun visors, a spare tire carrier, exhaust, and more as outlined below then the finishing touches and final tune-up done was just recently by Woody's Wagens and Classic Cruisers in Wyoming . Power comes from a 302ci V8 paired with a floor-shift 3-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. This Baja Bronco tribute is inWyoming with recent receipts and a clean Wyoming title in ourpersonal name.

The body was refinished under previous ownership in white and red with a metallic blue roof, similar to the Stroppe team livery. Fender flares were also mounted over cut wheel openings. We had a new windshield installed along with new seals and channels. A detailing of the body, engine bay, and underside was performed in November 2018. New front Driver and Passenger floor pans, inner fender aprons, and inner wheel well installed in July 2019.

15″ American Racing wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. Anew swing-away spare tire carrier was sourced, painted, and mounted.

The interior is outfitted with new black seat upholstery, door panels, rear panels, carpet, headliner, and sun visors. The shifter has been relocated to the floor, and further additions include a roll bar, tilt steering column, tachometer, and CD player.A new steering wheel was also added in late 2018. The 5-digit odometer shows just over 36k miles, with total mileage unknown.

An aluminium radiator and Edelbrock carburettor were installed by the previous owner, and work during our ownership includes timing, carburettor, and brake adjustments, as well as the installation of a new dual exhaust system.Suspension modifications include a 4″ lift featuring Wild Horses shocks and rear springs, as well as asteering stabilizer. Some build photos and receipts available upon request. I'm happy to take additional pictures and answer questions to the best of my ability.
