Description
This appraised, high end driver is a fine example of one of America's most iconic cars. It is a late model production car and was the 104th Ford assembled on June 30, 1955 at the Dearborn, Michigan assembly plant.The 292 engine has been balanced and blueprinted. The factory hardtop has been restored and a white Prestige softtop has never been used. Other features include a chrome dress-up kit, fender skirts, full wheel covers, power seats, rare Fairlane Eyebrows over the headlamps and a window washer kit. It is a straight and rust free car including the original floor braces, steel air ducts and rocker panels. Upgrades include 12 volts, a '57 carbuerator and air intake, sway bars, electric fuel pump, new wide white wall radials, new power steering assembly, battery disconnect and seat belts. Included would be a hardtop carrier and car cover. 49-1955 original plates (48 states and District of Columbia) are available for $2500 to compliment the car in the garage. These plates are either restored or in good original condition.
The steering wheel is from a Fairlane; the clock does not work. There are after market gauges for oil, temperature and battery. There is an after market radio. There are several small chips on door and hood.
