1965 Ford Econoline E100 Pickup TEXACO Theme
Description
1965 Ford Econoline Pickup: E100This truck is the unusual first generation of Ford Econolines. They made vans and pickups with the same face, but 23 different body combinations between the pickup and van, only 2 pickups (3window or 5 window). This is obviously a 3 window. Engine, swapped to a 300ci Ford Inline 6 (most durable engine from Ford ever), and a C4 automatic transmission. The interior is all new with only a little wear, (driving for about 7 yrs since it was built). All electric gauges with 1274 miles on the odometer. All BFG tires and proper stainless dogdish caps. Drives straight and pretty smooth. Take a little getting used to, driving over the steer tires, but its a lot of fun. Aluminum radiator with electric fan. Electric fuel pump. Stainless steel rear bumper. Tail lights are '50 pontiac to get just a little shine on the rear side. Bed is rhino lined. Issues: fuel gauge is backwards, E is F and F is E (Oops). Trans minor leak from the shifter shaft (not enough to make me fix it, so small but leaves a puddle in the garage over winter). Couple super small chips / flaws from driving, I just haven't driven it this year and need room. But it fired up first time without any prep from the winter sit. All the graphics are hand painted, no decals here. Crockett's is a fictional place so no worries. All the lights work, headlights, hi/lo, turns, brakes, running, dash, etc. All gauges work with the fuel error exception of backwards. Texaco theme. It has the extremely rare proper Ford script west coast commercial mirrors. Msg me if you have questions. 248-4O8-426O. If you need to ship this truck. I can help load, but I am not a shipping broker. Its under 2800 lbs.
