We had a client that asked us to convert the 1969 Mach 1 car to a 428 Cobrajet. Unfortunately, time and money has prevented the build from being completed so we are offering this Mach 1 great already equipped with a 391 engine and a c6 transmission the option to buy the 428CJ Cobrajet engine for only $2995 extra.
Engine and transmission were used in a Ford Galaxie. Engine and transmission come with the car. We can swop them out for the 428Cobrajet and a 4 speed transmission if desired for slight extra charge.
The Gulfstream Aqua Fastback had been raced years back with a video seen below. It was able to support the big block engine because there were custom built FENDERS AND FRONT CLIP

which allowed this particular car to support a 429 MONSTER STROKER ENGINE in her at one point,....The extra front clip packages were custom made and will come with this auction. Please look at FINAL PICTURES of the extra front clip pieces if you wanted to recreate this look.
Car is remounted onto an original Mustang subframe so some shock tower adjusting will be need accomodate the larger engine or.... you can swop out the front clip with the custom pieces provided. Above you tube video shows what the Stroker engine looked like in this exact car....PRETTY DAMN COOL.... Still has its rear wing, and window louvers. Rally wheels. Original sharp Gulfstream Aqua color. Below is a video of this exact car driving a few years back when it was painted matte black
Rust is minimal. New gas tank. Trunk drops are good. Originally a TACH DASH CAR....VERY HARD TO FIND. Car still needs some interior trim work, and some other finishing body touche,
