Description

Up for grabs is one 1970 Ford Econoline 100, this van comes with a bill of sale only no title. The story on this van is that it set on Al Unser’s property for probably 25+ years we purchased a bunch of things including vehicles from Al Unser So you will get a bill of sale from Al and a bill of sale for myself so you can use the bill of sale for me and keep the one from Al to prove that it was Al Unser’s van. OK with that being said here’s info on the van itself it has rust and all the usual places underneath where the brake master cylinder for leaks all over the metal it is rotted some metal out where that took place see pictures and underneath the battery tray where battery acid leaks all over the metal and has some rot there and on the outer bottom rockers have rust So the bottom outer rockers will have to be replaced the inner part of the rocker as solid as it is the hole pretty much the whole floor is really solid the frame rails are all solid except for the front driver side frame rail that’s directed right underneath the master cylinder which brake fluid leaked and corroded that so it will need to be fixed. They only made the second GEN Econoline 100 for six years so they’re getting harder and harder to come by this is the only one listed on eBay right now so if you’re in the market for a second GEN Ford van act swiftly I would think it would sell fast at this price . The motor looks to be original it does turn over but when you’re turning it over you can feel it hang up where the rings might’ve been sitting for 25 or plus years but I would imagine if you put a little Marvel mystery oil let it sit in the cylinders it might come out it might not on sure if that motor will run or not and it’s missing the carburetor and the air cleaner I’m on sure if someone was trying to fix it to rebuild it maybe they were trying to get it running who knows it’s a three speed three on the tree manual shift transmission it’s missing the driveshaft and it has its original Ford 9 inch in the back. This van has great potential for someone looking to restore . Feel free to give me a call or text me at 310-493-8550 and I would be more than happy to send you a video or additional detailed pictures of the van. We just had another one of these and it was in the same condition for the same price and sold in less than six hours . Cheers David
