This incredible hot rod I am offering for sale has received a awards in 2009, 2011 & 2014 at the GNRS, The Primer Nats to name a couple and has been a well known car in the So Cal Hot Rod scene since the 1950s.A great 1939 Ford Tudor Deluxe Sedan, If your looking for a REAL hot rod that thats as traditional a hot rod you will find, have a look at this little Ford. You will also have extra room for the family your buds, or whatever with this little Ford Hot Rod.I can’t stress enough how cool it is to have a Hit Rod that was Originally built in 1952 it’s damn hard to find anything like this with a little history. No, she’s not a roadster that’s ran at ElMirage in 1949, because them good ol’ boys at the SCTA well, as it was told to me by a very well known hot rod editor, they pick and choose who’s in their “club”, so they made a rule that outlawed all body types except the roadster. I could go on because he told me lots of stuff but basically they didn’t want a Tudor Ford kicking their asses in the timed runs. This is simply why the Roadster is so much more popular on the dry lakes. But little 39’ she’s got lots of drag racing history, and I’m sure blew a few SCTA members off Wilshire Blvd among others! It’s been in a couple old magazine articles, etc., but the whole history can tell you the whole history of this car if you want to give me a shout. It’s got lots of in So California history and only 5 families me being the fifth have owned this wonderful car! There’s even a model car you can find #76! This car is a No rust or No rot ever, and again a rare opportunity to own an early Ford Hot Rod Built In the early days, raced, showed, then tucked away in a garage until the late 90’s then bought, the paint from 1953 (some repainting in the 1970’s in two spots), was buffed out to what you see here.A low mile 59AB, and trans built with all the best to bring her back on the road
A NOTE ABOUT THE PICSSome of the pictures have different air cleaners, and maybe an engine accessories or two on the motor might be different as a few decorative parts I swapped for nicer stuff, air cleaners, the over flow, generator cover. The last picture I took of the engine compartment show the current finned generator cover and air cleaners. Thanks$34,500. Or best offer....!
